Watch an electric drag car break the 200-mph record - Huff Motorsports took on the challenge after Don Garlits said it couldn't be done
Built by Huff Motorsports of SeaTac, Washington, and driven by Steve Huff at Tucson Dragway, the Current Technology 2.0 became the first – and so far the only – electric car to top 200 mph (320 km/h) over a quarter-mile. Huff broke the record on May 14, 2020, on his second pass of the night.
